Oriental Medicine is a comprehensive system of health care
with its own views of pathogenesis, its own methods of diagnosis, and
its own modalities of treatment. Within this practice, it is essential
to collect a comprehensive medical history, and conduct a diagnostic
exam using the oriental medicine paradigm. The selection of acupuncture
points, herbal prescriptions, and nutritional therapies is based on the
results of the diagnostic exam.
The key is in the individualized
treatment plan:
what works for one person will not
work for the next.
 Margery Ann Wells has been practicing
and integrating medicine for 30 years,
bringing together the best of East and West for all ages. Her passion
for her work emphasizes improving quality of life, promotes vital aging,
and provides concurrent care for chronic disease and conditions. Margery Ann
treats underlying patterns and known causes of disease in ways that are
not used by mainstream medicine. Care is accomplished
without the side effects found in pharmaceuticals. Since 1982, Margery Ann has
successfully integrated Oriental Medicine with Western Medicine and has
treated thousands of patients. She continues to study, lecture, and has co-authored
important contributions for the western medical community. She promotes
the professional development of oriental medicine by striving for high
standards of care, has worked on legislation for acupuncture in
Minnesota, and she is a strong advocate for integrative work with
mainstream medical physicians.
Therapies at Green Medicine Health
are not used in lieu of mainstream medicine.
