We gather herbs; and we gather together.

We nourish, we care for, we birth, we study, we create, we research, and we provide many kinds of quality health care.

We talk to each other and we weave baskets that hold and transport our hopes and dreams for each other that cross culture,
race, and age differences, class and professional exclusions,
religious and philosophical differences, geographic and
political boundaries of ignorance.

We are committed to conscious health, and wellness as
a means of empowerment toward the elimination
of poverty and oppression of women.

We have a right and an obligation to take responsibility
for our own health care.

We have the collective power to heal the wounds of our community
and change the course of herstory and history on this planet.

We recognize that health as life is a continuous process;
and it is not possible to separate the body and its parts
from the environment, from the mind, from the soul and spirit,
from the emotions, and from all forms of energy cycles.
