HEALTH CARE SOLUTIONS INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE
The key is in the individualized treatment plan: what works for one person will not work for the next. As the patient begins the healing process, a layered recovery is observed, acupuncture point locations are changed and herbal prescriptions reflect the evolving patient process. The doctor of oriental medicine conducts a comprehensive medical history and diagnostic exam, provides nutritional education, herbal prescriptions, acupuncture, acupressure, moxabustion, and qi gong.
Margery graduated with a degree in Health Science which included
additional specially designed course work in traditional oriental
medicine, (TOM). She was supervised by two physicians who also have
training in TOM. She studied with Dr. Juan Yu, MD, OMD for another two
years, and then completed an internship in TOM in Washington D. C. Some
of her further studies include Koryo therapy, and the use of eastern and
western herbs, nutritional therapies, and adjunctive homeopathy in the
clinical setting. She continues to study, lecture, and has co-authored
important contributions for the western medical community. She promotes
the professional development of oriental medicine by striving for high
standards of care, has worked on legislation for acupuncture in
Minnesota, and she is a strong advocate for integrative work with
mainstream medical physicians.
Therapies at Health Care Solutions Integrative Medicine
are not used in
lieu of mainstream medicine.
